"The nose is rather muted and closed on this whiskey, but the palate displays some surprisingly sweet notes of cinnamon, baking spices, and clove. There isn't much to balance that sweetness, which occasionally seems cloying. The finish isn't much to speak of, but this would be a fine mixer or shot for someone who prefers a sweeter style whiskey."
