Glen Grant 18 Year

excellent and complex profile.. all the subtle notes are there as expected from an 18 yr old

I’m certainly not a Speyside expert. Almost salty? Really good scotch but not fantastic...and probably not worth the price. 3.75.

It has the unique Glen Grant sweetness like its 10 year, and a deeper taste.

Well crafted and balanced. Light on the nose with hints of honey and fragrant fruit. The palate has touches of baking spice and brown sugar with bitter dark chocolate on the finish. Quite good.

Intense fruit, honey and malt on the nose. Complex and intense fruit on the palate with a soft heat and luscious mouth feel. The age serves this one well. Although I do appreciate the 12 yo at $50, this is a fine step up at $78. A lovely Speysider that should be ranked 89-90 instead of 85 here.
