Palate: Lemon/citrus, dried fruit, Marsala wine, caramel, black tea. Quite a strong oak/vanilla note. Finish: Long, oily finish. Ginger, salt, gristy, sherry, sultanas/raisins. A hint of menthol on the aftertaste. This is a lovely salted and honeyed, toffee caramel dram. Delicious. Came joint third out of the six drams, with 17% (4 votes) of the final vote for favourite of the night. 92% of those present said they enjoyed the whisky.85.0 GBP per BottleThe Good Spirits Co. -

Reviewed January 2, 2021 (edited May 17, 2021)Woody, sweet peat, sour apple/pear. Tasted blind and I couldn’t identify it as a campbeltown. Perhaps the age and wood contact overwhelms the spirit. I prefer the 15. This is just too long in the cask for my taste and not particularly well balanced.
