Released as a special, limited edition in 2010 along with the Auchroisk 20 year bottling, this too is cask strength and un-chill filtered. Glen Spey is a little known single malt as there are few distillery bottlings made available; it is primarily used as a malt for J & B and Johnnie Walker. This 21 year is aged in American ex bourbon and ex sherry casks.

Tasting Notes

"There are lush honey notes, coconut, and red fruits found with this whisky. On the mid-palate, you'll find some maple vanilla and mint. There is a slight amount of smoke, but more so from the charred barrels than peat. A touch of water really opens up this whisky quite nicely for a great after dinner treat."
