GlenAllachie 15 Year

Light sweet aroma, caramel and the sherry. Vanilla and oak on the tongue, plenty of burn but it's a combination of barrel and some spice. They play off each other, but the body is a little thin and the burn comes on strong. Above average but nothing really exciting with the flavors or balance.

Comparing to glenallachie 10 cask strength batch 5. Less rich in mouthfeel and flavorful than the 10, but this is still excellent. Most of the same flavor is there just from the sherry even though 4 casks were used for the 10.
