Prior to 2017, when the distillery was acquired by a consortium led by master distiller Billy Walker, GlenAllachie was rarely seen as a single malt whisky. The much anticipated core range of the GlenAllachie distillery from Speyside was finally launched in July 2018.
This 18 Year expression features whisky matured in Pedro Ximénez sherry, oloroso sherry and American oak casks. .

Tasting Notes
"Big and fudge-y at first, with barley and lemon yogurt, but then it moves on to balanced and friendly notes of apricots and sultanas. The palate has a sweet arrival, think marzipan and raisins. There are some subtle citrus notes, gentle spices and light flavors of mocha. Give it a little while, and the finish will reward you with fruitier notes."
