Glenfarclas 10 Year

I once ordered a gin cocktail at a v posh bar which unexpectedly had absinthe in it. This reminds me of that cocktail. Mellows out a bit with water which brings out the cereal. Definitely prefer it with the water.

Got the impression of windex on the first waft. Luckily, that did not carry through to the taste. Water mellows it, but still not my favourite.

Girl Scout Trefoil cookies, in whiskey form. Vanilla shortbread, a touch of caramel, and a buttery, malted finish. A little thin, but expected at 80 proof. A great every day dram, and a solid benchmark 10.

Ehh ok, bitter after taste and not smooth. Hm
