it's okay. a little too strong and spicy for my taste.

Nose: Honey nuts, apricots, coffee beans, melted butter, burnt popcorn Palate: Cinnamon, allspice, ginger, black pepper Finish: Plums, barrel charred smoke

F: rotgold N: distilleriecharakter süß Frucht leichte seife. sprittig. G: streng dann trocken und stark. intensiv. fruchtig Seife sauer. A: alkoholisch süßer werdend bitter

Nose: sherry & butterscotch; Palette: sweet sherry, moderate alcohol burn (in a good way, keeping things interesting); Finish: warm, sweet, and slightly drying from the tannins (just right). This is a fairly one-dimensional whisky but the proof keeps it interesting. The Aberlour A’bunadh is better (and one of my favorites), but for the price—28€ for 1 liter—this is absolutely worth a try. Cheers!
