Really like this one, don't be turned off by the Glenfiddich power house, this one is nicely crafted and in my opinion a steal at $49 for what I get. Very sweet, with lots of sweet baked apple, medium finish, wonderful aromas that indeed remind me of a well crafted bourbon but with the distinct character of a single malt (no confusion here, it does NOT taste or smell like a bourbon but it share some elements). Reminders me a little of a Balvenie but stronger and tastier. 3 drops of water nicely opens it. I will come back later as the bottle changes...
