One of the best scotches under $99
Nose: caramel and chocolate mixed with light fruits, honey, vanilla
Taste: pears, cinnamon, more honey and some darker fruit notes and a hint of mint or a sweet grass
Finish: surprisingly short given the build up
If the finish were a bit longer and more complex I’d give this 4.5 out of 5. What a great scotch.
Airport scotch, best looking thing on the menu. Barrel taste is stronk. Mild smoke (for a scotch I mean!). Charred wood. Oak flavor lingers a long time too. Not getting the apple or grape aspects of a regular glennfiddich, some cherry notes though. Tasty malt flavor.

The scotch presents fruitfully on the nose with notes of cherry, and vanilla. Accompanied by a floral bouquet.
On the tongue the whisky starts sweet with rich flavors of stone fruit and honey. This breaks into the vanilla of the bourbon cask and finishes with an indulgent blend of sweetness and smoke. There is the barest hint of peat hidden in the aftertaste accompanied by the oakey tannins of the ex-bourbon cask.
