Tasting Notes
"There is a surprising brightness and pep to this whisky, considering its mature age statement. The nose delivers a figgy pudding bouquet, with notes of butterscotch, fresh figs and orange zest. More of that burnt sugar and butteriness settles on the tongue, along with crisp golden apple, raisins, figs, apricot, toffee, roasted cashews and orange marmalade. A clove and peppery heat takes the whisky into the medium-length finish, but ends on a sweet, slightly floral, oaky note. "
