Tasting Notes
"This is a good looking glass of whisky. The sherry wood influence is off to a commanding lead with maple glazed dried fruits but wet wood overshadows the nose. In the mouth, the oak casks are given a chance with rich vanilla fusing with baking spices setting up a flash of oak tannins. The struggle is in taming the sherry influence and balancing its sweetness. The dampness from the nose leaks into a soft finish."
