Glenfiddich 15 Year Our Solera Fifteen

The nose is sweet, with pears and vanilla and mild caramel. The palate is again very sweet, very rich, caramel, some roastiness, leather, ripe dark fruits, and a bit of vanilla. The finish is fairly short, not unpleasant. I used to love this whiskey, it's sherried and sweet. I find however that it lacks complexity.

Smooth and sweet. I'm more a bourbon drinker, but this has some bourbon-like qualities to me. Major cherry cola on the nose — which carries over to the palate, along with licorice and cinnamon. Very good if you like single malt Scotch Whiskeys. This was a Christmas gift, but I'd buy again myself.
