The very first release from Glenmorangie's Bond House No.1 Collection - a 1990 vintage single malt matured in ex-bourbon casks and a smaller portion of sherry casks.
The vintage marks the year that their warehouse, No. 1 the largest of their bonded warehouses built in the 19th century, was transformed into a still house in order to keep up with growing demand.

"This would straight fall into the "OMG That's incredible" category. Multi-layered flavors - orange blossom, cream puffs, beeswax, honey-glazed popcorn, tangerines, red apple - and all well-balanced yet deliciously complex. The texture is like a soft cloud rolling in your mouth. There's something extremely delicate and refined about this expression, a "Grand" whisky indeed. "
