Just didn't sit right with me, definitely not one of my favorites but will take this hands down over most, especially middle to bottom shelf whiskys. I'd rather spend a bit more and have some Glenlivet 12.
This is a complex whisky so it's hard to keep it short. On the nose It's mainly citrus fruits especially if you coat the glass with whisky. After a teaspoon of water sweet notes of vanilla and chocolate appear along with it hints of nuts and spice. On the taste a wave of spice hits at first followed by sweet notes. A combination of ripe fruits, peach-like, together with sweet wood lingers. Caramel, vanilla and fruits. Towards the end you taste the orange which then developed into a bitter smokey finish. A delicate whisky with a good ballance between fruits and spice.

Nose: Citrus, vanilla, slightly floral. Taste: Sweet vanilla, honey, caramel cream. Finish: Floral and a little spice, abrupt and bitter. A good reasonably priced introductory malt.
A floral nose as smooth as caramel with a zesty palate. It's a medium finish leaving a salty taste in the back of your mouth. A splash of water evened out the nose and brought out a long burn on the finish. Nice Scotch.
