Fruity and smooth for sure. Burns flavorfully. Vanilla and almost caramel-like in the aftertaste. There's something that I can't quite put my finger on that makes this fresh, wild, and perfectly typical of a single malt Scotch. Update: That fresh wildness? Heather and clover honey. Also gentle spices, dried tangerine peel, muted vanilla, fresh baked scones; smooth, long finish. Amazing to revisit this everyman's scotch with a more experienced palate.
