Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban 12 Year

This is one of my standard evening sippers

Strong nose. Rough starting taste. Quickly evens out with distinct sugar and fruit flavors. Spicey hints increase as you drink. Taste lasts on tongue, almost silky.

Pineau (brandy liquor) & sweet Port dominates the nose, cedar, oak, apple, very spicy, cherry, brown sugar, vanilla, oily, long spicy finish. One of my favorites, and drinking thus after Redbreast 12 only makes me appreciate it more. They are so different in every way that they bring out the greatest in each other. I highly recommend both and recommend drinking them one after the other. It will make both whiskies far more vibrant.

Sweet and fruity. A little high on the spicy for my taste.
