"This whisky has a very weighty, creamy, comforting consistency, and the immediate takeaway is that it's like drinking the whisky equivalent of buttery Scottish shortbread biscuits. Further sips bring out walnuts and malted chocolate with a hint of sweet spice. This Scotch would make an excellent before-dinner dram or an intro to an evening of Scotch imbibing. "
