Glenmorangie Tayne
Single Malt
Glenmorangie // Highlands, Scotland
As part of its Legends Collection which is available only in duty free, Glenmorangie has created a non-age statement expression in homage to a 16th century Spanish Galleon. It was said to have sunk in Dornoch Firth in Tain (a.k.
a. Firth of Tayne) off Scotland's coast near the distillery, after its skirmish with the British navy. The expression was created from a unique selection of Amontillado sherry casks, an unusual choice for a Scotch finish.

Tasting Notes
"This dram is reminiscent of ginger snap cookies covered in dark chocolate. Sharp spices have a tinge of citrus peel, almonds (with skin) and toasty oak flavors. The finish hits the mark between dry and sweet. "
