Glenturret 10 Year Peat Smoke (2020 Maiden Release)

Light Carmel and strong honey.

Fairly mellow, honey and gentle smoke. Surprisingly strong alcohol for the rest being so toned down.

2021 release: Mellow peat with a strong medicinal flavour. Evokes: mead and a burnt cigar.

2021 release: Moderate peat and lovely honey on the palette. Pepper and medicinal finish. Not a lot of depth but the honey note makes this an enjoyable dram. Peaty advent calendar 2022 #5 (or so!)

Not the best smoked I’ve had but drinkable none the less. I wouldn’t keep a bottle in my collection though

not Islay, but still delivers
