Gourry de Chadeville Grande Champagne Cognac Single Cask #1
Cognac
Gourry de Chadeville // Grande Champagne, France
Master Distiller Pierre Goursat Gourry runs his family's Cognac estate and does everything himself. It is a blend of ugni blanc, folle blanche, and colombard--all harvested, vinified, and distilled together. It is distilled to 71% abv and placed in a used 250L Limousin oak cask.
No additives were used and this is unfiltered. Most importantly, this is bottled at cask strength of 64.3% ABV, quite an unusual thing for Cognac.
