Gran Cava de Oro Tequila Extra Añejo

Super (like, super) sweet. Tastes like it can't be just tequila. The bourbon barrel comes in strong on ther nose, with a vanilla punch in the face. Port flavors, and more vanilla - you know, for kids - in your mouth. Goes down faster than you'd expect after you pry your cheeks from your teeth.

Best Tequila I have ever had!

Tried this in Cabo at a tasting and I wasn't impressed. It's incredibly sweet to the point that I was thinking it was a synthetic taste. The low abv kills the spirit's power and lets the barrels take over to produce a thin, sugar water tasting concoction that resembles more of a poorly made rum than a fine aged tequila.

Smooth, very sweet, strong vanilla and subtle herb notes and pronounced fresh cut wood on the middle palate. Reminiscent of drambuie. Ridiculously drinkable!
