Triple Sec/CuraçaoBoth triple sec and curaçao are orange flavored liqueurs. Triple sec is clear typically made with a neutral grain base. Curaçao is generally orange or blue and historically has a brandy base. Curaçao is often also flavored with additional spices, but does not have to originate in the isle. Generally the higher the ABV for both, the better the quality.

"A mix of brandy notes and orange zest coming through on the nose. This amber colored liqueur is cloyingly sweet, but the orange flavor comes through. Isn't entirely balanced with the booze and it tingles the gums, but is not totally unpleasant. Gran Gala is not especially complex, but the orange liqueur is useful in a punch either hot or cold. "
