Reviewed October 31, 2020 (edited January 5, 2021)Scotch novices might enjoy this because the flavor notes are easy to pick out. Honey, oak, malt and caramel on the nose and taste. Short to medium finish, which is a bit briny and doesn’t really match the rest of the experience. Also, It’s inexpensive for a single malt. -

Reviewed October 18, 2020Not complex or flavorful. Most of the action occurs on the back of my tounge. Slight vanilla and some sherry, berry hits but not much. The backend is mild oak and nutty. Overall, not bad but not worth ever having again. -

Reviewed October 5, 2020Tasting neat with a 50mL taster: Nose of honey, oak, vanilla, Palate brings dark sherry fruits, butterscotch, and delicious wood smoke. Finishes smooth with slight leather notes and a tiny hint of smoke. -

Reviewed October 3, 2020 (edited December 2, 2020)Nose - honey, orange zest, banana, pineapple, apple juice, mild earthy funk, oak notes, moderate ethanol burn. Taste - apple juice, honey, pineapple, overripe fruit funk, barrel spice, black pepper, spearmint, moderate alcohol bite, finishing quickly with a sour, mint fruit funk. Pretty middle of the road and underwhelming. The sour apple juice funk flavor is slightly off-putting. -

Reviewed August 15, 2020Very, very good. I don’t miss the sweetness of bourbon, not overt peaty. Just solid. -

Reviewed July 17, 2020Light peat and smoke but middle is more orange and toffee. Some spice. Bit thin but not sweet and smooth. Good value for the spice. Bit of bitterness at points.
