Tasting Notes

"Initially, the nose is pretty tame and full of grain, grass, and wood. Some funky aromas show up a little later, a musty mix of paste, decaying flowers, overripe cherries, and chocolate. On the palate it's surprisingly dessert-y for a rye, with coffee and chocolate dominating while wood, salted caramel, rye spice, juniper, and minty bitterness emerge toward the end. "
