Reviewed November 20, 2016 (edited August 11, 2017)Had this again for 600yen at the distillery after 6 years and it's just as good. Milder on the nose and the palate and less peaty than the 12 but outstanding in its finish and elegance -

Reviewed October 5, 2016 (edited August 8, 2019)Nose - Sweet peppermint, cucumber peels, buttered toast, spicy sweet vanilla, fresh green hay. Taste - Light, fruity grassy peat, white pepper spice, vanilla/toffee, melon-like sweetness, dark caramel. Finish - Very faint smoke, grassy sweet green grapes, dark vanilla, white wine reduction sweetness. Score - 92/100
