Founded by Iain & Donald Hart in 1964, the Hart Brothers bottle both blended and single malts (as well as a few single grain whiskies). Their master blender (the third brother, Alistair) heads up the cask selection program, and the family has gained a reputation for precision and quality.
This particular bottling is a 14 year-old single malt from the Mortlach Distillery in Speyside, laid to rest in 1997 and bottled in 2011 at 46% ABV. This malt is non-chill filtered and contains no added coloring.
