Hatozaki Pure Malt Japanese Whisky
Also known as Small Batch Whisky in some markets, this bottling is made with 100% malt whiskies distilled in Japan and elsewhere. The blended malt is aged in ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and Mizunara oak casks before bottling at 46% ABV with the age of the whisky ranging from 5-6 years. Made in batches no larger than 20 casks, the whisky is bottled without added color or chill filtering.
Hatozaki is named after the oldest stone lighthouse in Japan which dates back to the 1600s. The Hatozaki whisky brand is based out of the Kaikyō Distillery which began production in 2017. .
