Tasting Notes
"The nose begins with a dark plum chocolate mixed through vanilla custard and roasted raisins giving a deep Christmas-cake feel that wafts through the air and entices the senses. Earthy peat moss moves through the sulphury undertones and beautiful low smoke. The palate is toasted with intense amounts of sugar and fruits. Plums, cherries and oranges are chopped and mixed with raisins toasted with butter. While lovingly wet, the whisky dries the mouth with an intense cooling mouthfeel that leaves a fine coat of cinnamon. It has a long quiet finish while the impact of old wood toasted with cinnamon lingers to cleanse the palate for the night. "
