Modern GinAka Contemporary, New Western, New Wave, or New American. Not legally defined, but juniper is not the dominate flavor. Often made with botanicals not historically used and/or sourced locally.
Tasting Notes
"Unlike the subtle rose flavors in the classic Hendrick's Gin expression, the floral notes here rates a 10 out of 10. And yes, roses are the dominant flower featured, but there's a mix of other flowers here adding some complexity to the garden as well as some lush green plants. The juniper and coriander add some backbone to both the aroma and the taste, but they're minor players here. The brand's cucumber flavor is not noticeable at all, which may be a plus for some (myself included). The gin has a mild bittersweet ending and a light juniper peppery note. Would incorporate in gin cocktails featuring sparkling wine or fresh berries. "
