Henry McKenna 10 Year Bottled in Bond Bourbon

Pleasantly enjoyed this was spicy upfront with a long finish that ultimately made for an amazing old fashioned. Typically for me I enjoy a heavy rye or rye whiskeys in general when making an old fashioned. As my top go to's for old fashioneds are high west doubly rye, strittenhouse or sazerac.

Tried at Adeles 4/22/17 High rye content and some woody tastes. Not good as a sipper but would probably be perfect for cocktails.

Spicy and warm. Big flavor with a quick finish. I like mine with a little water.
