Henry McKenna 10 Year Bottled in Bond Bourbon

Corn, anise, cinnamon. Different and in a good way

Tried a lovely one bottled in 2011. Super smooth with lots of caramel & butterscotch notes. Not much nose and practically no hug: dangerously drinkable.

SiB...bottle we have is just average. There is nothing offensive about it, but it's just basic with minimal character. Maybe the next bottle improves it.

Initial aroma tickles your olfactory senses. Hint of caramel and pear. Neat, it has some burn initially which sticks around. Maintains richness but not overly sweet. Will revisit this one.
