Herradura Añejo Tequila

I’m a whiskey first, then peated scotch and finally a bourbon drinker - but I recently bought a bottle of Herradura Anejo tequila and fell in love with it - even though it is 40%.

I like this one with an ice cube or two changes the complexity to me

Aromas of mostly vanilla. Apple and pear. I seem to be missing the expected agave. Flavors are right in line. Vanilla and bright fruits. But the agave comes in very nicely. The finish i just a little bitter but mostly good.
