Herradura Ultra Añejo Tequila

Huge vanilla notes followed by agave and slight grassy spice

Very smooth sipping tequila, rather pleasant to drink. The only major downside is that it loses some of the richness and complexity of other unfiltered añejo tequilas. That said, it’s a good quality drink at a reasonable price. Not a strong aroma, but a scent of honeydew melon is present. On the palate there’s some honey, and a hint of melon and herbal flavors, along with notable agave. A bit sweet overall.

Was excited to taste this. I love tequila. This does not taste like tequila. Maybe I can use it as a 65$ mixer. This should be sold as a specialty alcohol not as a tequila. Wish I had my money back to purchase their regular anejo. If you love tequila don't get this.
