Hibiki 17 Year Chrysanthemum & Crane
Blended
Suntory Whisky // Japan
Made by blending Yamazaki and Hakushu single malts along with single grain from Chita distillery, this 17 year expression is a very limited edition bottling from the House of Suntory.
The whisky is presented in Hibiki's signature 24-faceted glass decanter (to represent the hours in a day and number of seasons in the centuries-old Japanese calendar) and features a traditional silk-screened painting of chrysanthemums and red-crowned cranes.

Tasting Notes
"Gentle fruit lead the nose with melon, juicy peaches, and apricots competing, as freshly cut roses and honey hide in the background. The palate rolls in smooth with dark cherries atop a thick base of caramel and vanilla. Juicy fruit return on the finish, and linger playfully. "
