Reviewed July 2, 2022Nose is pretty. Honey, light smoky peat, almond extract, applesauce, hard candy. On the palate, the smoke is surprisingly forward, but it's still a delicate peated smoke. Underneath the smoke is bright spring flowers that quickly evolve to poached pears and then subsequently disappears. Body is middling. It tastes a little bit hot initially. No off flavors here but a few more years should round out some of the edges. -

Reviewed September 19, 2021Much more complex on the nose than I expected based on reading other reviews. I've got fresh garden soil, peat, pine oil, medicinal astringency, new wood, inland fog, decaying leaves, and very faint plastic on the nose. Chili's, cinnamon, nutmeg, and wood spice on the palate. Undistinguished dark spices, astringency, and creamy vanilla on the finish. Water brings out some creamy vanilla and burnt sugar on the nose, a little more mustiness to the soil note, and a hint of sweet breadiness. It adds a slight floral note and a cinnamon roll note on the palate, and some soft spices, decaying wood, and very slight hint of confectionery sugar in the finish. I definitely look forward to studying this some more.65.69 USD per Bottle
