American Blended Whiskey
High West // (bottled in) Utah, Multiple Countries
Produced at High West Distillery in Park City, Utah, Campfire is a blend of three whiskey styles: straight rye whiskey, straight bourbon whiskey, and blended malt Scotch whisky. The rye component includes both a sourced MGP expression (95% rye, 5% malted barley) and an in-house distilled rye (80% rye, 20% malted rye), while the bourbon is sourced from MGP (75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley).
The Scotch component is from an undisclosed source. Bottled non-chill filtered at 92 proof, it is released seasonally each year.

Tasting Notes
"A complex nose lets you hone in on what you're enjoying most, whether it's cinnamon buns and vanilla to, well, campfire-like smoke, with ashy cigars and charred meat. The palate is earthy and phenolic, dominated by peat and smoke, while also showcasing dark chocolate, orange peels, cardamom, and pumpernickel pretzels. A lengthy finish showcases both plums and prunes, black pepper, caramel, and rye spice."
