Highland Park 12 Year

Not as into this dram during my second bottle. Ive tasted plenty more whiskey now and dont think this is one id grab often. Its certainly complex as you taste honey, peat, and tropical fruits, but for some reason it just doesnt work all together for me.

Bitter peat on the first sip with caramel and dark fruit coming through on the coated palate.

Bright sherry sweetness on the nose. And getting some solid sherry on palate too. Ends with the smallest hint of smoke
