Highland Park 12 Year

This is a good whisky, def not sweet (not on the scent), very dry sherry with leather, smoke and a hint of peat. The taste is sweeter than the smell, but still on the dry side, with peat that comes and goes and smoke that comes and goes. I would say this is a good introduction whisky for people to experience flavor profiles. I will go back to it and see if things change.

Nose: leather, peat, red fruit and lemon zest. Taste: grass and hay tones, the sherry finish shines in the main body. Toast, caramel and honey. Finish: caramel, dark chocolate Amazing full bodied whisky for its price point.
