Nose: heavy sherry, also a deep smell like thawny port. Dark fruit. Taste: very sweet, bit thangy. A syrupy sweetness. Honeysuckle and blackberry. Compared to the smell, the taste is a bit less impressive and slightly unbalanced towards the sugary sweet taste. Finish: long lasting finish of honeysuckle, fudge and dark chocolate. Sweetness lasts the longest.30.0 EUR per Bottle

Reviewed November 22, 2020 (edited March 3, 2021)Holy balls... It's pink Aroma: the initial smell is a mix of a fresh rose wine, strawberry jam, cranberry and vanilla. Taste: very sweet, red fruit, vanilla. Finish: caramel and dried red fruit. Great whisky. -
Highland Park Spirit of the Bear
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed November 21, 2020 (edited January 14, 2021)Nose: lightest note of peat from all the HPs that I tried. Light fruitier note. White grapes, apple, lime. Taste: chocolate, overly oaked. Pepper. Otherwise a pretty boring experience Finish: dark chocolate and raw wood. Not a bad lightly peated whisky but I expected more considering the quality of the rest of the HP core range -
Highland Park Valfather
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed November 21, 2020 (edited February 7, 2021)Nose: more peat than the other HPs that I tasted. Aromas of sweet (stewed?) pear, some prune. Body: hay, wall but, chocolate, vanilla. Slightly burned toast. Barrel spices. Finish: smoke, pepper and dark chocolate. This whisky really opens up with a few drops of water. Highly recommended.
