Tasting Notes
"Smoldering peat smoke greets you on the nose with mossy and earthy scents along with some fruit (maybe plums) and grilled meat. It's a bit chewy on the palate and leans a bit dry at full proof. An oxidized sherry note appears at the finish. Further tastes present more of a trail mix flavor with toasted nuts, raisins, and coconut shavings. For the price, it delivers a variety of flavors which work pretty well together. Adding water brings more of the mossy, herbal notes to shine through. "
