Available beginning in May 2017, Valkyrie is a more peated expression than is typical from Highland Park using a greater portion of Orkney peated malt. The bottle was created by Danish designer Jim Lyngvild. Valkyrie is the first in a trio of Viking legend expressions.
Valknut is expected in 2018 with Valfather to arrive in 2019. This single malt whisky is bottled at 49.5% ABV.

Tasting Notes
"A feast of a nose! Strawberry cheesecake, nutmeg, dried fruits, vanilla cream, chocolate and sweet spices compliment Highland Park's signature salty/smoky notes. The palate is well balanced with smoky hints, oak, spices, orchard fruits and gentle citrusy notes. The dark chocolate comes back towards the end for a last yummy kick."
