RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The rye grains come though--quite rightly as they comprise 95% of the grain recipe--along with a raw, almost green oak aroma. The rye aroma has that distinctive cherry aroma to it as well as its grain profile that leans more herbal. There's a little wax coming through as well. As you taste, the whiskey is on the lean side, but it's tangy. The flavor profile is not very dynamic, nor does the finish last very long, but what does stick around is pleasant enough. Would use in cocktails rather than just drink to enjoy."
