Review #302
Whiskey Tour of the World 2025 #9
Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes.
Color: Medium amber.
Nose: Apple, apricot, raisin, with some caramel and vanilla.
Palate: More fruit followed by some baking spice and clove.
Finish: Medium heat that lasts a long time.
Splash: No new flavors are revealed.
Overall: 8.5/10 - If this were a bourbon or an American Single Malt, I'd rate it the same. Everything is well done here, and the proof is evident in the finish. A wee bit more complexity would make it a 9/10.
