INSÓLITO Añejo Tequila is a 100% blue agave tequila brand backed by American country band Midland in collaboration with brothers Octavio & Alberto Herrera, owners of Premium de Jalisco which makes the tequila. The distillery, located in the town of Mazamitla, Jalisco is the highest distillery in Mexico at an elevation of 7200 feet. It is made from a blend of Tequila Valley (20%) and Los Altos (80%) agaves.
The añejo expression matured in new American oak for 18-24 months. Available in Texas as of February 2020 with other markets expected to follow. .

Tasting Notes
"An Añejo that struggles to showcase either defining agave or barrel characteristics. The nose is shy with warm butter and sugar cookie elements edging out. The palate spikes with a taste of sour lemon at the front and a mild butteriness to close."
