J. Carver Brickyard Bourbon

There are some solid flavors. It's not a floral wheat, its more doughy. But it tastes very young. Lots of sweet corn and oak.

Taste like strong whiskey.

Pre-Distiller tasting.

Total Wine certified barrel 200. Good, considering the age. But when aged 2 years or less, it’s noticeable.

Nose: hints of pepper and orange Taste: notes of maple, orange and spice, custard Finish: short with faint spice note

Too much winter wheat for me

Cinnamon and corn with an okay initial flavor. A nice rye spice finish with a smoothness uncommon for straight bourbons. A lot to like here, but nothing spectacular.
