Reviewed May 28, 2023 (edited August 25, 2023)Nose is mahogany or walnut furniture polish with some dried fruit and toffee and a nice rye edge, which tells me this will be a welcome departure from the cloyingly sweet bourbons I’ve been tasting recently. Seriously though, i do feel like I’m about to taste my dining room table. Palate doesn’t disappoint with loads of oak, burnt sugar, leather, and some Manattan (barrel aged) flavors hiding in a back corner. Cinnamon and clove make an appearance before the long, oaky finish. The wood is so pronounced this would be worth testing against Woodford Double Oaked and other lumberyard bourbons. Compares very well to King’s County, another 6yr BiB with malt in the mashbill at 2x this price point.55.0 USD per BottleGomer's Midtown
