Jack Daniel's 12 Year Tennessee Whiskey (Batch 3)

Nose: sweet oak, wet leather, ripe banana or banana bread, maple and vanilla Taste: vanilla, spicy and toasty, oak amd woody, oily, caramalized burt brown sugar

Received a sample from a friend. Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium-dark amber. Nose: Dark fruit, caramel, vanilla. Palate: Cinnamon red hots, with some baking spice and oak. Finish: Medium length with medium heat. Splash: Some fruity notes return. Overall: 8.5/10 - At MSRP, I could see this being a weekend dram. Sadly, I never see these for MSRP.

Good Flavor and finish. Quite tasty however not quite as good as the JD10 this year
