Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Strength Tennessee Whiskey

Definitely picking up the banana notes on smell. I tasted it with an ice cube, the heat is from the high proof is a bit overwhelming to me. After it mellowed with the ice i noticed more cinnamon, with a bit of vanilla that smooths it out, before finishing spicy again. The taste lasts for a few minutes after swallowing, which is amazing in itself! Great whiskey!

Lots of banana and caramel.

Aroma - overpowering booze mixed with leather and cinnamon / taste - sweet heat immediately takes over as your mouth becomes a raging inferno. / finish - cinnamon candy that lasts for minutes. This stuff is sadistic and leaves you wanting more

The nose on this reminds me of walking through the rickhouses on my trip to Kentucky. The bottle I got is from Rick L-2 and is at 68% ABV. As it tilted the glass back, the nose turned a little more sweet with stronger caramel notes. The palate was delicious and it was surprisingly smooth, virtually no alcohol burn. The finish could have been a little longer but overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase!
