Reviewed April 10, 2026De 8% rogge is meteen te merken in de geur en de smaak. Hoge alcohol percentage geeft hem een goeie bite en zorgt ook voor een flinke smakelijk explosie. Vanille, hout, kaneel, sherry cola, gebakken ananas, gebakken banaan -

Reviewed March 22, 2026 (edited April 21, 2026)Geur: vanille en zuurstok. Sterke geur. Ook wel wat alcoholwalm, maar niet overheersend. Neus is fantastisch. Pallet: heerlijk. Typische Jack smaak opgeschroefd. -

Reviewed September 24, 202563,5% ABV here. I had to add water before trying - the whiskey wouldn't release almost anything without the water. After adding a little water, I was hit by a brutal vanilla bean aroma. I had never felt such strong vanilla in whiskey, even though it was bourbon. Everything else in the aroma was dark - dark overripe banana peel, dark brown sugar, dark caramel, dark chocolate. There is only one thing white - the aroma of peeled nuts, like a handful of raw peeled almond kernels. The taste is nutty, spicy, creamy and of course sweet. You can feel less vanilla ice cream, more banana and white honey cream. The finish is medium to long, of syrup of dark plums, bananas and other sweet pulpy fruits. Easily one of the best bourbons I have ever drunk. 88/100 WBR -

Reviewed July 7, 2025This and WT Rare Breed are two of the best high proof products that just sit on the shells but are amazing. I would put this a slight bit above rare breed especially if you can find a store pick.
